About the Recipe
Create restaurant styled dishes with this herb garlic sauce.
4 cups of fresh sweet basil leaves
2 1/2 tbsp of pine nuts
2/3 cups olive oil
1 1/2 tsp bottled minced garlic (fresh garlic can also be used)
1 tbsp garlic powder (unsalted)
3 tbsp shredded parmesan cheese
1 small onion
1/4 cup chives
Salt and pepper to taste
3-4 tsp complete seasoning (optional)
Wash basil leaves and drain.
Chop onion and chives.
In a blender/food processor add all ingredients and 1/3 cup of olive oil (depending on how you like your sauce to be spreaded, you can add more olive oil to make it thinner and to your liking).
Add the remaining olive oil gradually until well blended.
Store in the fridge or use immediately for your meal.
