Ingredients
2 Wholewheat Pita breads
1 small onion
1 small green bell pepper
3 mushrooms
1 small can of corn
4 cherry tomatoes
1 cup vegetarian cheese
1 small jar of pasta sauce
1 tsp of sugar
2 tsp basil
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp all purpose seasoning
Preparation
Pre-heat oven to 150 - 189° C.
Place pita breads on a sheet pan.
Wash and chop onion, mushrooms, bell pepper & tomatoes.
Grater cheese & drain canned corn.
Throw pasta sauce into a mixing bowl with dried herbs & sugar. Mix until blended well.
Paste pita breads with sauce mixture.
Top with cheese, then chooped veggies.
Place in oven for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted & veggies are cooked.
